01 / FIT FOR YOUR BUSINESS
The right box starts with what goes inside.
A mailer, a shipping carton and a shelf-ready product box solve different problems. Tell us which job yours needs to do.
Branded mailer
Unboxing and direct-to-customer orders
Share the product size, weight and any protective inserts. We review the opening style, board and print areas alongside the delivery method.
THE BUYING CHECK
A structural sample is useful for checking the fit and the packing process.
Shipping carton
Protection through transport
Tell us what is shipping, its packed weight and how it will travel. A decorative finish does not replace the construction and protection needed for transit.
THE BUYING CHECK
Include cushioning, sealing, stacking and handling requirements.
Product / retail box
Presentation and display
Include the product dimensions, shelf or display needs, and whether the box is shipped inside another carton. We clarify board, closure and print scope.
THE BUYING CHECK
Specify any window, insert, finish or additional outer packaging.
Measure usable space.
Specify internal length × width × depth. Product and insert dimensions help us check the fit. Not a manufacturing dieline.
02 / THE RIGHT SPECIFICATION
Know what you’re comparing.
Use these points to describe your requirement and review the proposed product. We confirm the actual construction and availability in the quote.
01
Corrugated board
Mailer and transport-oriented constructions
Review: Board specification, packed weight, protection and handling.
02
Paperboard / folding carton
Product presentation and inner packaging
Review: Thickness, closure, support and any outer shipping carton.
03
Kraft / white print surface
The base appearance of the chosen construction
Review: Color reproduction, coverage and finish on the actual board.
03 / A USEFUL PRICE COMPARISON
Compare the whole order. See where the cost goes.
Ask for the quantities you actually use. We define the product, print, setup and delivery scope so you can compare like for like.
01
Dimensions & construction
Material consumption, board specification, inserts and closure.
02
Print area & finish
Inside / outside print, color coverage and finishing.
03
Quantity & setup
Compare volumes and identify cutting, plates or tooling where applicable.
04
Packing & freight
Flat or assembled delivery, carton count, storage space and freight scope.
Pricing is quoted to your specification. Quantity examples are comparison requests, not published price breaks or minimums.
04 / CONFIDENCE BEFORE PRODUCTION
Make the fit tangible. Make the print clear.
Structure and artwork need separate checks. A digital rendering cannot confirm the packing fit or transport performance.
01 / REVIEW
Structure & packing
Review dimensions, closure and inserts; request a structural sample where needed.
02 / REVIEW
Artwork & print surface
Review the supplier’s dieline, folds, print sides and the appearance on the quoted board.
03 / REVIEW
Production & receiving
Approve the specification, packing method and delivery scope before the order proceeds.
Sample type, availability, charges and timing are confirmed before that work begins. Required approvals come before production.
Provide internal usable length, width and depth when possible, and label the units. If you only know the product dimensions or have an existing box, send those and tell us about inserts or protective packing.
Can I print inside the box as well?
Include the requested print sides and coverage in your brief. The quoted box style, material and production method determine the available print areas and cost.
Will the box protect my product during shipping?
Protection depends on the construction, contents, cushioning, sealing and delivery conditions. Include the packed weight and handling needs; ask about sample and transit-testing scope when performance is critical.
Can I start with a smaller run?
Send the quantity and deadline. We review available construction and print routes, including smaller-run options where suitable. Custom structure or tooling may change minimums and unit cost.
Do boxes arrive flat or assembled?
Tell us how your team will pack and store them. The quote specifies the supplied format and any assembly, inserts or additional packing work.
